Nicholson Community Garden of Love

Nicholson Community Garden of Love Event!

Join Hous Band on Saturday, November 22nd from 12:30 to 3:00 PM preforming live at Nicholson Park in San Bernardino. This is event is put on by The Incredible Edible Community Garden, a non-profit organization, enriching the “community by providing plots in a central gathering place for members to plant vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, and enjoy the fruits of our labor.”The Incredible Edible Community Garden

About the Event: Funded by the USDA Forest Service Incredible Edible Community Garden, Terrace West Neighborhood Association, Serving Proud Industries, San Bernardino Veterans Affairs, City of San Bernardino and many more coming are, “Celebrating A Day of Diversity” to commemorate the ground breaking of the “Nicholson Community Garden of Love” named and designed by the community. The garden will be located next to the Nicholson Community Fruit Park in Nicholson Park at 2750 W. 2nd Street in San Bernardino. It is on the corner of Meridian and 2nd.
What a celebration it is going to be and we hope you will join us. San Bernardino County Veterans Affairs is graciously supporting the event by securing a band. Jen Housholder and the Hous Band will provide great sounds for the day and is certain to rock the park. Thank you Veterans Affairs and Serving Proud Industries!

No celebration can be done without food. We will be having a full on community potluck and Thanksgiving meal. Given the year Incredible Edible Community Garden has had, we think it is an appropriate way to celebrate this year and what is still to come. Jen herself is currently a Major in the US Army and pilots the UH-60 Blackhawk. Jen as served in two missions, one in Iraq and in Kuwait. The Mission Continues is a non-profit organization, founded by Eric Greitens, and “empowers veterans facing the challenge of adjusting to life at home to find new missions. We redeploy veterans in their communities, so that their shared legacy will be one of action and service.”

AV Today

Hous Band is in the news … again! We can’t help it anything for promotion, as my marketer would say. We are highlighted in the AV Today because we will performing at the Summer Concert Series on The BLVD tomorrow, that is Thursday, September 4th. So, come on out for a good time, the Farmer’s Market, drinks, and … well … great music with Hous Band.

Hous Band will be performing Live at this year’s Poppy Festival. The Poppy Festival is held every year in the spring at the Lancaster City Park. It is truly a lot of fun! So come on out enjoy a good time with family and friends and see Hous Band rock the festival this year!

Hous Band is back at the House of Blues on Friday December 6th at 8 PM. Hous Band will be playing in the Voodoo Lounge. Noooooo, there will no bad magic spells just some good rock-n-roll and a great time for everyone! Some come on out for some good food, good drinks, and GREAT music.
